Upcoming July events
After the successful vertical gardening courses at the VanDusen I will be working with Village Vancouver (www.villagevancouver.ca) on three different events:
Tuesday, July 11th 7-8:30 pm
In this workshop we will look at many pictures and examples of vertical gardens and the systems/products available, as well as DIY options. Especially useful for people who have a small patio or balcony, or would like to turn a wall/fence for a garden.

Growing Food Around The Creek: An Urban Agriculture Walking Tour
Wednesday, July 28th afternoon 6:30-8:30 pm
Part of the westside food festival, in this 2-hour tour we will visit and discuss sites of urban farming, community gardening, micro-farming and indoor gardening, all around False Creek.

Intro to Vertical Gardening - Hands on
Saturday, July 30h 2-5 pm
A part of the westside food festival, in this 3 hour hands-on workshop we will review the principles of planning a vertical garden and setup an actual vertical garden as an extension of an existing community garden.
