Educational herb gardenA colourful pocket garden was installed in a childcare centre, that did not have access to a yard. The children planted the pockets with herbs and vegetables, they water the plants, watch them grow, and taste them either as herb teas or snacks in the centre. | Reclaimed pallet systemTwo reclaimed wooden pallets were combined with used flour bags and local compost to create a vertical veggie patch. It produced kale, tomatoes, zucchinis and beans, on an area smaller than 1 square meter. | Drawers for germinationA simple and efficient solution was required for germinating plants to grow shoots, micro-greens and wheatgrass. These are semi-transparent drawers, turned into productive germination trays that let in light while maintaining moisture and a cosy micro-climate. |
